Property Details

This Grade 2* cottage renovated in 2005 is part of a very rare brick built coach house that was constructed in 1790 as part of the Carclew Estate. It is situated down a private farm lane, surrounded by arable land just 2 miles from Mylor Bridge. The village is found at the head of Mylor Creek, with a good selection of shops, and the Lemon Arms, a friendly good value pub. The county town of Truro is just 6 miles away, with Falmouth with its historic port and Maritime Museum 5 miles in the opposite direction. You are centrally located for both the rugged north coast with good surfing and sandy beaches, and the softer south coast ideal for the sailors, perfect for any holiday.

Upstairs under the eaves are the two bedrooms, one double and one twin, also the bathroom with a short bath with power shower above, wash hand basin and toilet.

The fully equipped kitchen, with built in electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine and dining table. Watch out for the chickens, as they are free range and will try to come in and raid the kitchen! The comfortable sitting room has a colour television and a DVD player. Also an additional downstairs toilet.

If you wish to bring your own horse or pony, stabling and tuition is available. In the barn adjoining the cottage is a tumble dryer, which is perfect for storing surfboards/ sailing gear, drying wetsuits and wellies.

Central heating throughout the cottage.

a very special place, everything was perfect, the children loved the horses and the chickens.
