Property Details

Overlooking Restronguet Creek with an amazing panorama out over the Carrick Roads all the way to St Antony's Light House guarding the entrance to Falmouth Harbour. Silent Waters is a spacious three bedroom bungalow with wonderful views of the creek and woodland on the opposite shore. Situated in a tranquil private position, it is surrounded by enclosed private garden. Situated between the cathedral city of Truro and harbour town of Falmouth it makes an ideal location to explore all that Cornwall has to offer; close by is the National Trust garden of Trelissick also Loe Beach giving access to wonderful sheltered sailing waters, here also is an excellent sailing school and boat hire based at the beach, and a very good beach cafe. The King Harry Ferry a little further upstream gives you easy access to the magical Roseland Peninsula.

Four steps lead down to the front door, opening into a spacious hallway. The large spacious lounge has panoramic views down Restronguet Creek, with French doors leading onto the terrace and garden. The large well-equipped kitchen has an electric stove, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave, off which is the separate dining room with french doors opening into the garden.

At the far end is the study, a separate utility area, with washing machine and tumble dryer, the back door and cloak room, with toilet and wash hand basin.

At the other end are found the three bedrooms; the master double is at the front with the wonderful views, which has an en-suite bathroom, with bath, shower above, toilet and wash hand basin. At the back are the two twin bedrooms, along with the family bathroom, with bath, electric shower above, toilet and wash hand basin.

The large garden is to the front of the house with ample parking to the rear.

Central heating throughout.

We've been entirely seduced following our visit to Silent Waters, – what a fantastic spot and great for the two dogs! Despite the somewhat inclement weather (which necessitated much use of the washing machine and tumble dryer and maximised the value of the laundry room…..) we had a great week.
