Property Details

St Peters is a four bedroom mid terrace three storey house situated in the delightful picturesque village of Flushing across the water from Falmouth's Greenbank. The house was built for a packet ship captain, the village owes its name to 17th Century Dutch builders who came to construct piers and sea walls.

The village subsequently became a place of style and refinement where the captains of the packet ships and their families once lived.

The spacious four bedroom accommodation is laid out over three storeys and most of the principal rooms enjoy a sunny south-westerly outlook across the river. The village has two good pubs, a small village store, together with a waterside fish restaurant and an excellent farm shop selling local produce.

The house is set back from the road by an enclosed sunny front terrace. On the ground floor the main sitting room is to the front, the panelled television snug is situated in the middle of the house with access through to the modern fully equipped kitchen dining room. Also found on the ground floor is a cloakroom /utillity.

To the back of the house leading out from the dining area is an enclosed paved courtyard, with barbeque. Steps lead upto the top garden terrace offering additional eating area whilst enjoying views over the harbour.

On the first floor there are two double bedrooms one of which has an en-suite shower room and the family bathroom. On the top floor there are two further bedrooms - one twin and one double.

Our first visit to Flushing. We've had a lovely week, perfect for all the family. Good local pubs & restaurants.
