Lookout Cottage recently renovated to a high standard, this spacious cottage offers a fantastic base in the most beautiful part of Cornwall, situated in the picturesque village of Mylor Bridge, perfect for relaxing, walking or exploring at any time of year.
The village is at the head of Mylor Creek offering a good selection of local amenities, newsagent, general store, butcher, fishmonger, post office and a very good pub, The Lemon Arms. At Mylor Harbour there are excellent sailing facilities for yachtsmen along with two sailing schools, boat, bike and canoe hire. Close by is the harbour town of Falmouth with its Maritime Museum, Pendennis Castle and sandy beaches, the Cathedral city of Truro famous for its cobbled streets and Cathedral, and the surfing beaches of the north coast only a 30 minute drive away.
On the ground floor is found the fully fitted kitchen, with electric hob, built in oven, microwave, fridge, separate freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, along with the dining table and a sitting area. Next door is the comfortable and stylish lounge, with colour television DVD and CD player, a large wood burning stove and study area, both these ground floor rooms have by-fold doors opening onto the front terrace.
Upstairs are two bedrooms one double and one twin, both having by-fold doors offering views over the playing field and the creek beyond. The modern family bathroom has a bath, separate shower cubical, toilet and wash hand basin.
To the front of the cottage is a sunny terrace with garden furniture, steps leading down to the off road parking area.
