Property Details
Quay House is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, this waterside nautical property offers beautiful views of the creek and Mylor village green. Situated on the quay at the head of Mylor Creek, surrounded on two sides by water, when the tide is in.
The village has a superb selection of shops, a grocer, butcher, fishmonger, newsagent, a post office, and a very local good pub The Lemon Arms, with many local seafood restaurants all within easy reach. The tidal creek is ideal for those who love boats, while Mylor Yacht Harbour offers many facilities which include pontoon berths and swinging moorings with immediate access to the Carrick Roads. There is also a good sailing school along with boat, bike and canoe hire all just over a mile away.
Ideally placed for exploring all of Cornwall from the rugged cliffs, sandy coves of the north coast, and fishing villages wooded creeks on the south coast, to the harbour town of Falmouth and the Cathedral city of Truro all are close by.
On entering the Quay House, you have a fully fitted and very well equipped kitchen with gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. across the hall is the utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and a large fridge freezer.
A seperate dinning room, along with a very comfortable sitting room with colour television and DVD, along with two conservetories one giving access to the waterside garden, also a ground floor cloakroom. Wifi available.
Upstairs are three bedrooms, one double and two twins, one of which has a small ensuite shower room with toilet and wash hand basin, all bedrooms have wall mounted colour televisions. There is also a second shower room, with toilet and wash hand basin, both power showers.

Quite the best holiday house we have had. Everything we needed with so many extra little touches. We will be back.
