Property Details

Tulip Tree is beautifully furnished two bedroom cottage situated on the edge of the village of Mylor Bridge which is set at the head of Mylor Creek. This really is a proper Cornish village with a selection of small shops, a good pub and a post office. The creekside walks from Mylor are idyllic, with the famous Pandora Inn on Restronguet Creek is just a 15 minute walk away or in the other direction a lovely creekside walk to Mylor Churchtown leading to Mylor Yacht Harbour. Here you will find two waterside restaurants, a cafe, along with two sailing schools, boat, canoe and bike hire. Just 4 miles from the cottage is the harbour town of Falmouth with its golden sandy beaches, waterside shops and galleries, along with the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle, the cathedral city of Truro is just 10 miles away.

The cottage is approached via a path across the front garden. The front door opens into the hallway leads off is the very attractive sitting room on the left, with colour television and DVD, with a comfortable sofa and chairs, open fireplace and French windows opening onto the patio. The fully fitted and equipped kitchen/diner is to the right, with an electric cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a washer/dryer. Also downstairs is a cloakroom with toilet and wash hand basin, and the back door leading to patio/storage area behind the cottage. Stairs to the landing, with the double bedroom having a 5' double bed, the twin bedroom with 3' divans, both of which overlook the garden. There is a family bathroom with bath, with shower above, toilet and wash hand basin.

Outside is a lovely little garden with two small lawns, a patio with garden furniture, with flowering borders and shrubs. In good weather, this is a lovely place for eating outside. Off road parking for two or more cars.

Heating throughout the cottage by night storage heaters.

Another great cornish holiday, our second visit to Tulip Tree, just as perfect as the first.
