Property Details
Occupying an elevated position and commanding gorgeous views over Restronguet Creek and across the Carrick Roads, this is an ideal yatchman's bolthole. This double fronted three bedroom 18th century former fishermans cottage, is only accessible on foot or by boat, with the waterside garden giving access to the jetty and foreshore.
The Pandora Inn is a short walk along the footpath, the village of Mylor Bridge is just a mile away, which has a good selection of shops, a general store, newsagent, post office, butcher and fishmonger.
From the entrance porch the inner door opens into the hall, with the comfortable sitting room to the left, with gas fire, colour television and DVD. The dining room is on the right also with a gas fire and CD stereo, a doorway leads through to the well appointed fitted kitchen, with a large gas range cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. A small utility area with washing machine, leads to the ground floor shower room, with toilet and wash hand basin. From the kitchen, the side lobby, with freezer and tumble dryer and the door leading to the enclosed terrace garden.
Upstais are three bedrooms - one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, all of which have water views. There is a small stylish bathroom, with a bath, shower above, toilet and wash hand basin. Next to the double bedroom is a small snug with creek views.
The main garden is across from the front of the cottage, with a larged decked area and terraced lawns. A path leads down to the jetty, beach and boat mooring.
Full central heating throughout.
With no vehicular access to the cottage, tenants can drive across the tidal beach to within 50 yards of the cottage to unload only, parking is 300 yards away.
