For complete peace and tranquillity The Foreshore is located down a quiet lane in an idyllic waters-edge setting.

A beautifully landscaped, enclosed garden slopes down gently to the edge of Mylor Creek and provides lots of room for children to play and has glorious views across the creek and the open countryside beyond, which guests of all ages will enjoy.

There is a gated grass slipway at the bottom of the garden which leads directly onto the tidal creek with a mooring available about 50 meters off shore if required.

Detailed Description

The village of Mylor Bridge is about 800 yards from the house and has a superb selection of shops, a general store, butcher, fishmonger, newsagent, post office and The Lemon Arms, which does very good food. There are also many other eating places within easy reach including the famous Pandora Inn and Castaways, a restaurant at Mylor Yacht harbour which specialises in local seafood.

There is a most enjoyable and picturesque walk from the house along a creekside lane which leads to the Yacht Harbour about a mile away at the head of the creek. The creek is ideal for those who love boats and Mylor Yacht Harbour offers many facilities such as pontoon berths and swinging moorings with immediate access to the Fal estuary. Boats, bikes and canoes are available for hire and there is also a good sailing school and an excellent waterside cafe.

The house is ideally placed for exploring all of Cornwall from the rugged cliffs and sandy coves of the north coast to the fishing villages and wooded creeks on the south coast. The harbour town of Falmouth and the Cathedral city of Truro all are also close by.

There is plenty of room for everyone in this comfortable, spacious four bedroom house. Inside, from the front hall you find on your left two bedrooms - the master double bedroom with french windows overlooking the creek, with colour television, walk in wardrobe, large en-suite bathroom with bath and walk in shower, toilet and wash hand basin and a lovely light twin bedroom with patio doors leading out onto a side terrace.
The main sitting/dining room has wonderful views over the garden and the creek with french windows leading out onto a decked terrace and sitting area. It has a colour television, DVD, CD hifi and a cozy open fire, along with a large dining table with seating for eight.

The kitchen is spacious, fully fitted with views over the back garden. It is very well equipped with electric hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer.

At the right hand end of house is a second sitting room with beautiful views over the creek at one end and patio doors leading onto a garden terrace at the other end. It has a colour television, DVD and in addition to a sofa and armchair, has a table and four chairs - ideal for laying out your jigsaw or playing a hand of cards! Off this room there is a cloakroom with toilet and wash hand basin and a small utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer with access to the spacious double garage.

From this sitting room stairs lead down to a small hallway (with french windows onto the garden) off which are two more bedrooms and the family bathroom. Both bedrooms one double with walk in wardrobe, the other a twin, have lovely views over the garden and the creek. The family bathroom is equipped with bath, a large walk in shower, toilet and wash hand basin.

There is full oil fired central heating throughout. There is ample parking and boat storage beside the house.

Please take care with young children as there is a 8 foot drop from the end of the garden to the water/beach below.
