The cottage by the lane. Full of warmth this traditional
17th century grade II listed cottage is situated on a family run
farm, just 300 yards down the hill there is a private shingle beach
giving you access to Restronguet Creek and the Carrick roads. These
sheltered waters form the third largest natural harbour in the world,
ideal for sailors of all abilities.
This is an idyllic family location where you can walk
across the fields to the Village of Mylor Bridge and explore the
creek side footpaths to The Pandora Inn, perfect for children's
crabbing. To the front and side of the cottage there is a large
sunny garden complete with patio area suitable for barbecuing. There
is also ample private parking for cars and boats.
On entering the cottage, the comfortable sitting room
with its original beams, inglenook fireplace housing a wood burner
(logs available from the farm) with TV and video. The large kitchen/dining
room with its farmhouse-style table is well equipped warmed by an
oil fired Rayburn, (electric stove, dishwasher, microwave fridge/freezer).
A door leads to the downstairs bathroom (bath, basin, WC), also
a utility area with washing machine.
Upstairs there are three
bedrooms comfortably furnished, one double, one twin and a single
all overlooking the garden. Heating by storage heaters. Next door
to Chybean.
