Walks in Cornwall
Cornwall is a wonderful county in which to walk and many of our cottages are located within easy reach of the South West Coast Path. Whether you wish to view the dramatic coastline on the North coast or the gentler South coast, there are many walks to choose from to suit all abilities and all family members.
The Roseland Peninsula has a gentler coastline than much of Cornwall and provides many sheltered, south facing sandy beaches. The walk from St Just to St Mawes is a particular favourite as you can enjoy the beauty of the coastline whilst keeping track of the activity on the water in Carrick Roads and enjoy an ice cream or a cream tea on your arrival!

Coast to Coast - Portreath to Devoran
This 11 mile trail is full of contrasts starting at the historic mining harbour of Portreath on the exposed Atlantic coast and finishing at the sheltered waters of Devoran on the south coast at the upper reaches of the Fal Estuary. In addition to beautiful countryside the trail passes many historic mine sites, now transformed by nature and is a real insight to the mining activities of Cornwall's past.
Cornwall Dog Friendly Beaches
Many of Cornwall's beaches allow dogs to enjoy the sand and the sea in the summer months, including Crantock, Perranporth on the North coast and Pendower on the south coast. For a full list of dog friendly beaches, please visit www.cornwall-beaches.co.uk.
