Our Location

Situated in the far South West of England, the county of Cornwall is well known for its miles of stunning coastline, part of the South West Coastal Path, its maritime history and, of course, mining history - and its many, easy to access, sandy beaches.  Popular with walkers, surfers, sailors, kayakers, birdwatchers and families, Cornwall is a wonderful county in which to enjoy a holiday.

Travelling to Cornwall

Travelling to Cornwall is easy with good road links (travel time from the Midlands and the London area is approximately 4.5 hrs) with the M6, M4 and M5 motorways linking with the improved main A30 trunk road into Cornwall. Trains are regular with Truro station being easy to get to with the Falmouth branchline connection. Newquay Airport has regular flights from Gatwick and Manchester airports. Car hire is available at the airport.

Coastal Cottage Locations

All of our self catering holiday cottages are situated in beautiful locations on the south coast of Cornwall -  Falmouth, Feock, Flushing, Lizard, Mylor and Restronguet are all picture postcard towns and villages with access to one of the finest sailing and watersports areas in the country, the Carrick Roads. This stretch of water links Falmouth with St Mawes, via passenger ferry and you can visit the twin sister castles of St Mawes Castle and Pendennis Castle which were built to defend the coastline during the reign of Henry VIII.

Many of our holiday properties have fine views of the water, others are beautifully secluded and all are perfectly placed for you to explore the immediate vicinity or travel further afield. Our Cornish holiday cottages are perfect for exploring the many beautiful locations that feature in the Rosamunde Pilcher books and films.

A snippet of information on each location is included on the individual area pages but if you require any further information, or have a particular requirement, before choosing your  holiday property, please contact us on 01326 375972 and we will be happy to help.
