Occupying an elevated position commanding gorgeous
views over Restronguet Creek and across the Carrick Roads, this
is an ideal yachtsmans bolt-hole. This double fronted three
bedroom 18th century former fishermans cottage, is only accessible
on foot or by boat with a waterside garden giving access to the
foreshore. The Pandora Inn is just a short walk along the footpath
from the cottage, with Mylor Bridge the nearest village, with a
good selection of shops, just a mile away. Boat hire, sailing lessons
and watersport tuition are available at Mylor Yacht Harbour. The
Cathedral City of Truro is just ten miles, with the historic harbour
of Falmouth just five miles away.
The foot path leads to
the cottage, from the entrance porch it opens to a small hall, with
the comfortable sitting room with gas fire, also a television and
video. From the dining room also with a gas fire, a door opens into
a well appointed and equipped kitchen with a large gas cooker, fridge,
freezer and microwave. A small utility area with a washing machine,
leads to a ground floor shower room with toilet and hand basin.
Also from the kitchen is access through the rear lobby
to the terrace garden to the side of the cottage.
Stairs lead to three bedrooms one double and two twin
bedrooms, all of which have water views. A stylish bathroom with
bath, shower above, toilet and basin.
Also upstairs is a small study area with creek views.
There is a garden across
from the front of the cottage, with a flat lawned area, with a narrow
pathway leading down to the waters edge.
Access to the cottage is
across a tidal beach to unload your car, 50 yards from the cottage.
Parking is 300 yards away. If the tide is in there is a footpath
above the beach.
