• Falmouth Oyster Festival 11th – 14th October 2012

  Falmouth Oyster Festival celebrates the start of the oyster dredging season, the diversity and quality of Cornish Seafood and in particular, one of the last remaining traditional oyster fisheries, dredging by sail and hand punt.

• The World Bellyboard Championship - Chapel Porth

  The World Bellyboard Championship is held on the first Sunday in September. A very simple, back-to-basics competition with no wetsuits, no leashes and no swim fins. A bit of wood and a swimsuit is all you need.

• Newlyn Fish Festival | Accommodation Available at Creekside Cottages

  The Newlyn fish festival is held every year on August bank holiday, and celebrates Newlyn's, and indeed Cornwall's, long fishing culture and heritage

  Fowey Regatta Week August 19th - 25th 2012.

• Falmouth Classics | Accommodation Available at Creekside Cottages

  The Falmouth regatta week opens, on the first Saturday, with the Falmouth Classics event. Over the next six days there are a series of races for keelboats, traditional craft and dinghies in the waters of Falmouth Bay, the Carrick Roads and the Harbour. On the final Saturday Classic Superyachts - magnificent craft built in the early 1900s with an overall length up to 45m and with professional crew - race for the Pendennis Trophy.
