coach house that was constructed in 1790 as part of the Carclew
Estate. It is situated down a farm lane, surrounded by arable land
just 2 miles from Mylor Bridge. The village is found at the head
of Mylor Creek, with a good selection of shops, also the Lemon Arms
a friendly good value pub.
The county town of Truro
is just 6 miles away, with Falmouth with its historic port and Maritime
Museum 5 miles in the opposite direction. You are centrally located
for both the rugged north coast with good surfing and sandy beaches,
and the softer south coast ideal for the sailors, perfect for any
holiday.
Upstairs under the eaves are the two bedrooms, one double and one
twin, also the bathroom with a short bath with power shower above,
washbasin and toilet. The fully equipped kitchen, with built in
electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and
washing machine and dining table, watch out for the chickens, as
they are free range and will try to come in and raid the kitchen.
The comfortable sitting room has a colour television, video and
a DVD player. Also an additional downstairs toilet.
Stabling is available,
and tuition, if you wish bring your own horse or pony, also in the
barn is a tumble dryer, which is perfect for storing boards and
wellies and drying wetsuits. Central Heating throughout the
cottage. Linen and house towels provided, but please bring your
own beach towels.
