An attractive 4-bedroom period cottage in an exceptionally
peaceful position, with outstanding views over Restronguet Creek
and the Carrick Roads. The property adjoins a private shingle beach,
suitable for launching small boats, by prior permission. Deep-water
mooring also available.
The 13th century Pandora Inn (lunches, dinners) is
reached by a short walk along the Creekside footpath.
Access involves crossing a tidal beach over which
unusually high tides can limit passage by car for short periods.
The path from the garage crosses a sunny, sloping garden to a flat
lawn area in front of the cottage - perfect for evening barbecues.
A porch leads to the main sitting room (open fire
and stairs to first floor)
Also, on the ground floor; a second sitting room (TV
and video), a small study, large kitchen/dining room (built in fridge,
oven, hob and dishwasher) microwave - with French windows to the
garden, utility room (washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer)
and a separate cloakroom.
Upstairs, all four bedrooms
have views over the water. The master bedroom has a double bed and
en-suite bathroom. The second bathroom contains bath, shower cabinet
and WC and there is a separate WC with basin. For the three remaining
bedrooms, one has a double bed with washbasin; the others have twin
beds (one with wash basin).
