A stunningly picturesque waterside village which lies across the river from Falmouth. This village is popular with boating enthusiasts, with great access to the sailing waters of the Carrick Roads. The village has two good pubs, a small village store, excellent farm shop and waterside fish restaurant. There is a passenger ferry which runs from Flushing Quay to Falmouth, and a spectacular walk from the village via Kiln beach around Trefusis headland to Mylor Harbour. The village is a wonderfully relaxing peaceful hideaway at any time of year.
